Furthermore, this paper aims to demonstrate that, although there was a global circulation of social ideas in law, it cannot be lost sight of how these ideas were received locally, in such a way that one cannot be studied without the other, an aspect that this article called "glocalization" of social law.Resumen Este artículo busca exponer cómo circularon las ideas del derecho social a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX entre Europa y América. Para ello, este texto muestra, con algunas generalizaciones por cuestiones de espacio, el caso alemán, francés, italiano, español, estadounidense y latinoamericano, para dejar en claro cómo operó esa comunicación atlántica de ideas académicas y normas sociales en el derecho.
