Summary: The current global structural moment goes through corrosive transformations in the classic model of the (sovereign) Nation-State. This is a result of the phenomenon denominated transnationalization, which lessen the power of the legal-political instruments in the internal order of the nations, in their market predominance, having decisive influence outside the public-democratic scope. In this context, the questioning is: is there a possibility of affirmation a sovereign state in transnational contemporaneity, characterized by interdependence? A priori, this phenomenon can changes the scope of the absolute power of the State, subjecting it to a relative sovereignty and the transversal logistics of intercessors, by (economic) mechanisms not subject to inspection, inserted in deep meanderings of the constituted powers and able to carry out veiled agendas and contrary to social interest; consequently, by fading from public participation and control. The methodology used is the dialectic-comparative.
