For this were used concret examples take from the Judiciary Branch of the five Brazilian geografich regions, using the deductive research method, through a qualitative analysis with bibliographic survey. In the conclusion, there is a reflection on the contribution of this article, delimiting the importance of the right to housing in the academic and social scenario as a whole, in addition to demonstrating a concern with the referred right in post-pandemic times.O artigo tem como principal objetivo promover uma análise sobre o trâmite das ações de reintegração de posse no Brasil enquanto durar a pandemia provocada pelo COVID-19, considerando o papel do direito social à moradia na tomada de decisões referentes à suspensão, ou não, destas ações. Para tal, foram utilizados exemplos concretos retirados do Poder Judiciário das cinco regiões geográficas brasileiras, empregando-se o método dedutivo de pesquisa, por meio de uma análise qualitativa com levantamento bibliográfico.
