The research is socio-legal, the applied method was quantitative; Applied surveys were statistically analyzed; having said surveys as primary sources. As findings we have that the participation of foreign jurists in the Special Justice of Peace, enjoys acceptance by the majority of respondents, considering them beneficial.El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la conveniencia de los Amicus Curiae en la Jurisdicción Especial para la Paz en Colombia, como objetivos específicos tuvimos: Realizar un análisis normativo, doctrinal y jurisprudencial sobre los conceptos de los Amicus Curiae; su regulación en otras legislaciones y realizar un sondeo estadístico en grupos focalizados en la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias para establecer la percepción de abogados cartageneros especializados en Derecho Administrativo, de los conceptos de los Amicus Curiae en la Jurisdicción Especial para la Paz en Colombia. La investigación es socio jurídico, el método aplicado fue el cuantitativo; se analizaron estadísticamente encuestas aplicadas; teniendo dichas encuestas como fuentes primarias.
