This is particularly obvious in respect of the supply of digital content and digital services and the trading channels for these (and other) goods and services via online platforms. In the future, it remains to be seen to what extent these new approaches can contribute to strengthening the coherence of European contract law in the face of new digital challenges.La digitalización empieza a tener un papel central en el Derecho privado y, muy en particular, en un área del Derecho civil tan clásica como el Derecho de contratos, que además se entrelaza con otras materias específicas, como la protección de datos o los Derechos de autor. Últimamente, las respuestas del legislador en la Unión Europea demuestran la necesidad de reformular los conceptos y principios del Derecho contractual europeo a la luz de los nuevos avances tecnológicos. Eso es particularmente evidente en relación con el suministro de contenidos y servicios digitales y los canales de comercialización de esos (y otros) bienes y servicios mediante plataformas en línea.
