Summary: The paper reflects out loud on the prohibition to disseminate terrorist messages on the internet, especially in line with international and national standards on the subject. The first part analyzes the standards that come from the United Nations, the European Union, and, mainly, the Council of Europe. In the second part, the matter is addressed under the fundamental right to freedom of speech conferred by Article 20.4 of the Constitution of Spain. In both cases, we emphasize both the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights and the Spanish Constitutional Court.
