Summary: The focus of this text is to reflect on the links between nature, coloniality and Human Rights in the reading of the Argentine philosopher Enrique Dussel. Thus, we question what contribution Human Rights can offer in the light of Enrique Dussel's criticism to think about such excluding processes of reproduction of capital in Latin America? To what extent can Latin American thought contribute in a radical way? Why is nature appropriate in a mercantile way in modernity? To answer these questions, we have organized the work in four moments: in the first moment, we will present Dussel's "critique" of Human Rights in Latin America; in the second moment, we will analyze the relations between capitalism and coloniality of which modernity has reached a decisive stage for the mercantile appropriation of nature. In the third, we will situate your contribution about the law in force x utopian law in your critical approach to Human Rights made by the Argentine thinker. Finally, we will indicate Dussel's political contribution to a critique of the capitalist social order, to another social order, capable of guaranteeing the right to life and the environment in Latin America.
