In the context of entrepreneurship, it is common to treat the entrepreneur and the businessman indistinctly when they are very different roles and require different skills. This leads to misdiagnosis when it comes to establishing why a high percentage of companies that register with the Chamber of Commerce of Palmira close early. In this paper, the terms human factors of both the entrepreneur and the businessman are differentiated theoretically and conceptually in order to establish: What is the impact of human factors of entrepreneurs and businessmen on the results of the management of small businesses in Palmira, 2019? The research developed a descriptive methodology, where the entrepreneurial and business skills of those who lead the businesses were differentiated and hierarchized, whether they are the managers or owners of the businesses that are in operation or have closed between 2015 and 2019. Analyzing the results in the light of the proposed theories, we find those factors that are given greater importance to be potentialized, as well as those factors that are given less importance and need to be strengthened.

Isto leva a um diagnóstico errado quando se trata de estabelecer porque uma alta porcentagem das empresas que se registram na Câmara de Comércio de Palmira fecham cedo. Neste trabalho, os termos fatores humanos tanto do empreendedor como do empresário são diferenciados teórica e conceitualmente para estabelecer: Qual o impacto dos fatores humanos dos empreendedores e empresários nos resultados da gestão de pequenas empresas em Palmira, 2019? A pesquisa desenvolveu uma metodologia descritiva, onde as competências empresariais e empresariais daqueles que lideram os negócios foram diferenciadas e hierarquizadas, sejam eles os gestores ou proprietários dos negócios que estão em operação ou fecharam entre 2015 e 2019. Analisando os resultados à luz das teorias propostas, encontramos aqueles fatores aos quais é dada maior importância para serem potencializados, bem como aqueles fatores aos quais é dada menor importância e que precisam ser fortalecidos.En el contexto del emprendimiento es común tratar indistintamente al emprendedor y al empresario cuando son roles bien diferentes y que requieren habilidades diferentes. Lo anterior, lleva a realizar diagnósticos equivocados cuando se trata de establecer por qué un alto porcentaje de las empresas que se registran en Cámara de Comercio de Palmira cierran tempranamente. En el presente trabajo se diferencian teóricamente y conceptualmente los términos factores humanos tanto del emprendedor como del empresario para poder establecer: ¿Cuál es la incidencia de los factores humanos de los empresarios y emprendedores en los resultados de la gestión de pequeñas empresas de Palmira, 2019? En la investigación se desarrolló una metodología descriptiva, donde se diferenciaron y jerarquizaron las habilidades de emprendedor y de empresario con que cuentan quienes lideran los negocios, ya sean los gerentes o propietarios de los negocios que están en funcionamiento o que hayan cerrado entre el año 2015 y 2019.
