Positioning myself in the theoretical perspective of the place not only as an epistemic reference, but also as a possibility of political action, this article tries to carry out a theoretical reflection about the new realities in rural areas of Latin America, emphasizing the Colombian case and showing the existing continuities between the developmental discourse and the rural heterogeneity that today proclaims the academic discourse of the new ruralities within the framework of neoliberalism. At the end of the article, emphasis is placed on how under this scenario the territories of the communities become places of dispossession, but also of resistance and dispute in the context of globalization |
