This work analyses the effects of health crisis generated by the Covid-19 on the access to housing for a Spanish average household. Following this objective, the impact of pandemic on the economy, in general, and on housing sector, in particular, are highlighted at the beginning of the research. Then this paper focus on the main components of the demand and supply of the housing market (buying and selling homes, mortgages, cement consumption, etc.). It finishes with a final reflection about what measures might enable the access to housing. |
