Therefore, this paper examines the principles of multiculturalism from the theory of Will Kymlicka, contrasting it with the pluralistic tendency of Giovanni Sartori. Performing a theoretical dialectical investigation of the postulates of the authors from the dogmatic perspective. To demonstrate the application of theories in the Colombian legal system, specifically as it pertains to the rights of indigenous groups, determining the nuclei of differentiated rights for indigenous and limits thereof, within the framework of the Constitution of 1991 and the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court.El multiculturalismo se ha posicionado a nivel mundial como una tendencia novedosa en teoría política. Por ello este trabajo examina los postulados del multiculturalismo desde la teoría de Will Kymlicka, contrastándola con la tendencia pluralista de Giovanni Sartori. Realizando una investigación dialéctica teórica de los postulados de los autores desde la perspectiva dogmática. Multiculturalism has established itself worldwide as a new trend in political theory.
