Summary: The European Union is moving steadily toward a common system of immigrant integration indicators to assess the effectiveness of policies at EU level. Among the most prestigious instruments as to the extent of its use and comparison of results is the Migrant Integration Policy Index, which includes several selected indicators related to integration measures and conditions. In Spain not apply these measures and there is still no indicator system that fits with the European Commission's proposals, but we have now the means that would enable the compatibility of both.Keywords: common system of indicators, MIPEX, integration indicators, measures of integration, immigrant integration policies.
