The European Union is moving steadily toward a common system of immigrant integration indicators to assess the effectiveness of policies at EU level. Among the most prestigious instruments as to the extent of its use and comparison of results is the Migrant Integration Policy Index, which includes several selected indicators related to integration measures and conditions.
