This article aims to demonstrate the importance of green and social enterprises in society. The study was based on a national company called "Lunas" that produces cloth towels for women, this company has a positive impact on social aspects, and in turn helps reduce pollution levels. The research was carried out by studying the levels of pollution generated by the use of disposable sanitary towels, and also addressed the existing taboo on menstruation. An interview was conducted with the co-founder and CEO of "Lunas" to obtain more detailed information on the subject. Lunas" was identified as a green company that generates sustainable local development based on its management model that takes permaculture as a reference. Finally, the importance of "Lunas" within the current panorama was discussed, the schemes that it breaks, the achievements that it reaches in a society that constantly represses women, being "Lunas" an economic, ecological and social solution for all women in a system that forgets the importance of maintaining respect for nature, in addition "Lunas" represents a tool of social construction that empowers all women. |
