For that reason, it is not enough that its recognition in the General Law of the Rights of Girls, Boys and Adolescents; that although it becomes an important precedent, it is necessary that there be a comprehensive, clear and harmonized reform through family and / or civil coding. For the purposes of correct regulation of institutions such as parental authority and civil liability to parents for the effects of damages caused to their children under 18 years of age.  Derivado de la transformación constante en las instituciones del Derecho de Familia en  México; es de fundamental importancia que figuras como el de familia por acogimiento se fortalezcan con la intención de lograr certidumbre y protección jurídica a una sector vulnerable en nuestro país, como el de la niñez mexicana. Por ello no solo basta que exista en primer momento su reconocimiento en la Ley General de los Derechos de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes; que si bien se convierte en un precedente importante, es necesario que exista una reforma integral, clara y armonizada a través de la codificación de carácter familiar y/o civil.
