In addition, we study the main issues related to the appeals presented to Constitutional Court by pro —independence politicians who were tried before the Spanish Supreme Court for crimes of different nature.El presente trabajo es la segunda parte de un artículo previo en el que se analiza la jurisprudencia del Tribunal Constitucional sobre el proceso soberanista catalán, desde el 27 de octubre de 2017 hasta el 1 de abril de 2020. Se trata de una estudio que sigue un orden temporal de los acontecimientos en el que se llama primeramente la atención sobre aquellas cuestiones políticas e institucionales relacionadas con la defensa de la Constitución y la democracia.
