It is an innovative program that breaks with traditional pedagogy in the sense that it is not focused on obtaining an university degree, but the main target is to get that the seniors have a better quality of life. This article analyzes the evolution of these programs, both in Spain and in others European countries. The introduction of Criminology as a subject included the design of the project, the adaptation of the contents to the student profile, the choice of activities that take place outside the classroom as several visits at museums, the adaptation to online teaching due to problems with Covid-19 and, of course, the development and learning of seniors. Este trabajo pretende dar a conocer una experiencia docente llevada a cabo en el programa de la Universidad de Mayores del Centro Asociado de la UNED en Madrid. En el artículo se presenta todo el desarrollo del proyecto, desde la investigación previa hasta la puesta en práctica. Los programas de Universidad de Mayores ocupan un lugar destacado en el mundo universitario. Es un programa innovador que rompe con la pedagogía tradicional, en el sentido de que no está enfocado a la obtención de un título universitario, sino a que los mayores tengan mejor calidad de vida. En este artículo se analiza la evolución de estos programas, tanto en España como en otros países europeos.
