However, this new solution proposed by the RGPD, in connection with the current norms of international judicial competence, elaborated in the different normative levels (institutional, conventional and autonomous) is not only clearly inadequate to protect the victim of an illegal international treatment of your data, but can even lead to counterproductive results.El nuevo Reglamento General de Protección de Datos de la UE (RGPD) ha traído consigo nuevas reglas de competencia judicial internacional: el sujeto puede solicitar las correspondientes acciones contra un responsable o encargado de tratamiento de datos ante los tribunales del estado en el que el responsable tenga un establecimiento, o ante los tribunales del estado donde el interesado tenga su residencia habitual.
