Summary: This article discusses the vulnerabilities that specific groups suffer during the occurrence of emergencies, and then presents the results of a first stage of this qualitative research that is being carried out in collaboration with organized civil society, particularly organizations of people living with HIV, people sexual dissidents, and chronic patients with spondylitis / spondy-loarthritis with disabilities or various functional ones. Based on these first results, the aim is to make visible the barriers that these specific groups must face with whom they have worked collaboratively from a perspective of ex-periential knowledge, since it is recognized in the experience of organizations and activism, a knowledge that should be integrated into management risk as a way to prevent and mitigate the effects of these emergencies in com-munities. Finally, some of the capacities developed by these specific groups are highlighted, which should be considered to generate a more inclusive and rights-focused management.
