In addition, it raises two questions about its legal training. On the one hand, the model of jurists that are being formed in the Colombian classrooms and their repercussions on the development that as a society is aspired, in democratic, fair and equitable conditions and, on the other hand, the competence of legal professionals to face the needs of an increasingly complex world inserted into a liberal model.Este artículo pretende realizar una aproximación a los antecedentes de las reformas judiciales impulsadas desde organismos trasnacionales hacia Colombia, los impactos generados por el proceso de globalización y las reformas de la educación jurídica colombiana aludiendo a la postura que ha asumido la Universidad para hacer frente a estas demandas. Plantea de igual manera dos interrogantes en torno a la formación jurídica.
