Summary: A relatively detained, confined, isolated society has had no choice but to rediscover itself within the safety recommenda- tions put forward by the competent bodies to stay healthy and, if necessary, provide what is within reach to better stop the disease caused by SARS-COV2 known as Covid-19, however there are other endemic diseases that coexist with the newly discovered Covid-19 that have not been controlled and represent a greater risk for the population such as dengue and its possible rebound until October due to the climatic conditions inherent to the region. A preliminary search is made of the scientific papers published through the Google Scholar search engine, using dengue and covid-19 as search keywords, of which enough are chosen to expose the objectives set. Temporality is discarded since the publications that contain comments about the effects of SARS-CoV-2 can only exist from the initial outbreak in November 2019. Although a child with dengue can become a severe asymptomatic case for the effects of Covid-19 has been warned that the child population is the main and most dangerous source of expansion of Sars-Cov-2, especially due to the inability to strictly uphold biosecu- rity protocols for the transmission of these and it is adults who show the greatest complication when suffering from Covid 19. Paradoxically, it is the adult population that can guarantee preventive protocols to control the spread of dengue through hygiene protocols that avoid breeding sites and reproduction of the mosquito that transmits this virus.
