Beginning with the intervention of the local Judiciary, the article analyzes the changes in the ways of doing politics of the inhabitants of the shanty-towns of Buenos Aires city, in terms of direct and deferred effects of the judicialization process, from the time of presentation of numerous judicial cases, to the urbanization policy of villas later passed by the Legislature of the city. Additionally, contributions are extracted from the case for the analysis of the transformations of contemporary territorial mobilization in a broader sense.El trabajo aborda un caso de movilización legal por el hábitat en el marco de un crecimiento de las estrategias institucionales para transformar en políticas las demandas de actores territoriales. Iniciado a partir de la intervención del Poder Judicial local, el artículo analiza los cambios en las formas de hacer política de los habitantes de villas de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, en términos de efectos directos y diferidos de la judicialización, desde la presentación de numerosas causas judiciales a la política de urbanización de villas posteriormente aprobada por la Legislatura de la ciudad.
