Summary: Attacks on the dignity of the worker are justified cause of termination of the employment relationship in accordance with the provisions of article 50 of the Workers Spanish Law is conditioned by two factors. First, that legal requirements are met and, secondly, that the strict requirements demanded by the Courts for the application of Article 50 ET are met. Both elements limit the possibilities that the attack on the dignity of the worker acquires greater autonomy as a cause for the application of this precept. However, an incipient evolution can be observed in the jurisprudential doctrine that admits the impairment of the dignity of the worker in connection with non-specific fundamental rights, such as article 15 and 24 EC, as a cause of extinction, which is expanding the possibilities of application of this precept.
