We consider also how the control should be in view of prestigious Reports and Reccomendations disseminated in recent years.Con la vista puesta en la regulación de los controles del Centro Nacional de Inteligencia en la legislación española, el trabajo intenta identificar los rasgos de un sistema de control de la función de inteligencia que sea respetuoso con las peculiaridades de ella y adecuado a las exigencias de una sociedad democrática. A tal efecto se revisa la regulación del control en los países de nuestro entorno, y especialmente en aquellos que han incorporado reformas en los últimos años (Francia, Portugal, Reino Unido, Italia y Alemania).
