It reconstructs the history of its publication by the publishing-house Araluce in Barcelona, and critically analyses its contents. It identifies the Bolivian diplomatic representative in Berlin (and Nazi) Federico Nielsen Reyes as the author of the translation and of the introduction to the book. Finally, it delves into the reception of Hitler’s self-fiction across the spectrum of the Spanish right-wing. With the breakout of the Civil War, a second edition of the book was published in 1937 in Ávila by the publishing house of the NSDAP.La primera edición en España de Mein Kampf de Adolf Hitler vio la luz en 1935. Se trató de una edición reducida y autorizada por los responsables nazis. El artículo refuta varias leyendas que atribuyeron sendas traducciones de la «Biblia» nacionalsocialista a los falangistas Antonio Bermúdez Cañete y Onésimo Redondo, reconstruye la historia de su publicación en la editorial Araluce de Barcelona, analiza críticamente sus contenidos, apunta al entonces representante diplomático boliviano en Berlín (y nazi) Federico Nielsen Reyes como autor de la traducción y del prólogo y, por último, efectúa una incursión en la recepción que tuvo la obra de autoficción de Hitler en las derechas españolas.
