In this article, the author analyses the Interamerican human rights legal framework of the defnition of gross human rights violations and its complexities and disclosure debate. Finally, he addresses regional standards and the interpretation of these based on the national constitution mechanisms, based on six access to information resolutions issued by the National Transparency Institute on the cases known as Tlatlaya y Ayotzinapa.En México, la Ley Federal de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información Pública contempla que la información relacionada con graves violaciones a derechos humanos y crímenes de lesa humanidad debe estar al alcance de quien la solicite, y por lo tanto no puede ser reservada. El presente artículo analiza el debate interamericano en torno a la califcación de distintos hechos como graves violaciones a los derechos humanos, así como las diversas aristas jurídicas y políticas que se desprenden de este tema.
