Summary: Abstract The article raises the application of the economic analysis of law and jurimetry against the prevention and punishment of gender-based violence from special justice for peace in Colombia, from the following research question: How is the effectiveness of the Special Justice for Peace for the Prevention and Punishment of Gender-Based Violence in Colombia, from the Economic Analysis of Law and Jurimetry?   Tracking on the state of the art, sources of analysis and approaches to special justice for peace become the basis of the article. Tracking on the state of the art, sources of analysis and approaches to special justice for peace become the basis of the article. With regard to the method of the same, method and methodology, this part of the interaction between the exploratory and descriptive method with which the first two purposes of the document are resolved; meanwhile, with the methodologies of economic analysis of law and Jurimetry, the third intention is resolved. Thus, the methodical conjugation serves as an anteroom to materialize the three moments of the article. It is important that issues related to the prevention and punishment of gender-based violence end up in rights-focused public policies, to reduce the legal burden on gender when it is derived from legislation; absent area, in a legal system that like Colombia is barely moving from positivism to legal activism and from this to public policies with a focus on rights, legal, population and territorial, as a central basis.
