A little over twenty-five years Law 349/1986 proclaimed for the first time and with a general right of access to environmental information. Since then and until now the regulation of this right has experienced a constant evolution, especially thanks to the efforts of the international order and community, always directed to the target attribute to the right to environmental information the maximum field of possible action, in its active aspect of información-diffusion, both in its passive aspect of información-access. And all this because of the belief that access to information is an essential instrument for the realization of the ultimate goal of protecting the environment. |
