The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the current crisis of the trade union system, especially its representativeness towards workers. The research will delimit representativity because this is one of the essential pillars of trade unionism. The work was based on bibliographical research, using sources such as scientific articles, books, dissertations and theses, mainly, information and communication technologies.
