Through the methodological tools of Economic Analysis of Law, this study demonstrates how the use of bitcoins in transactions carried out by the recovering company can reduce transaction costs and contribute to a less expensive, faster and more efficient judicial recovery. In an academic and constructive way, rather than exhausting the subject, this research aims to carry out a legal and economic study of bitcoin, which is the most used virtual currency in the world.
