In this context, the present work seeks to relate Copyright Law, Trademark Law and Patents Law with particular pieces of the seventh art. The aim of this work is generate a synergy between Law and Cinema for a better understanding of the institutions that Intellectual Property Law studies through the examples and reflections that films offer us. In this way, we analyze the legal problems surrounding Patent Law in Joy (2015) and Flash of Genius (2008); then, we study the issues of Trademark Law in The Greatest Movie Ever Sold (2011) and the documentary Logorama (2009); and, finally, we relate the topics of Copyright Law in The Social Network (2010) and Zootopia (2016)¿Se pueden vincular las distintas áreas de la propiedad intelectual con el cine? Es frecuente encontrar trabajos académicos sobre la vinculación de películas con el derecho penal y el derecho procesal, pero son muy pocos los estudios que vinculan los audiovisuales con el derecho mercantil. En este contexto, el presente trabajo busca relacionar el derecho de autor, el derecho de los signos distintivos y el derecho de la innovación con obras del séptimo arte, esto con el objetivo de generar una sinergia entre el derecho y el cine para la mejor comprensión de las instituciones que comprenden el derecho de la propiedad intelectual a través de los ejemplos y reflexiones que nos brindan las películas.
