This article pretends to demonstrate what was the role of migrant
organizations in the international claims made to the United Nations, and the impact of that
activism on the resolutions that have evaluated Argentina between 2016-2018 on migrant
issues. The context in which this participation occurred was based on a series of changes in the
Argentine migration policy; among them: a proposal for a detention center, the closure of
territorial management programs for migratory regularization, the signing of the Decree of
Necessity and Urgency 70/17 that modifies the immigration law, a constant racial persecution
in the streets, among other measures that were diluting the rights and guarantees of the migrant
population. These changes made migrant organizations and human rights organizations in
Argentina begin a path of reunion by trying to mitigate these changes and with this, a growth
in their legal culture on international protection systems. For to know how was the impact of
this coalition of organizations in the reports of the United Nations will resort to a mixed method
of study, between the documentary analysis, which objects to recover international documents
sent by civil society, the responses of international organizations; and militant research
techniques that seek to recover the context in which international reports were made.

For to know how was the impact of this coalition of organizations in the reports of the United Nations will resort to a mixed method of study, between the documentary analysis, which objects to recover international documents sent by civil society, the responses of international organizations; and militant research techniques that seek to recover the context in which international reports were made.: El presente artículo pretende evidenciar cuál ha sido el rol de las organizaciones de migrantes ante los reclamos internacionales realizados a Naciones Unidas, y el impacto de ese activismo en las resoluciones que han evaluado a la Argentina entre 2016-2018 en temas de migrantes. El contexto en que se dio esta participación fue a partir de una serie de modificaciones en la política migratoria argentina; entre ellas: una propuesta para un centro de detención, el cierre de los programas de abordaje territorial para la regularización migratoria, la firma del Decreto de Necesidad y Urgencia 70/17 que modifica la ley de migraciones, una constante persecución racial en las calles, entre otras medidas que fueron diluyendo las garantías de derechos de la población migrante. Estos cambios lograron que las organizaciones de migrantes y las de derechos humanos en la argentina iniciaron un camino de reencuentro al intentar mitigar estas modificaciones y con ello un crecimiento en su cultura jurídica sobre sistemas internacionales de protección.
