This work analyzes the ways of the nationality and the regional citizenship, as well as the difficulties that arise in the determination of the legal matrimonial property regime. In addition, new solutions are proposed, according to the new regulation offered by the LRC.El Registro Civil español no proporciona prueba completa ni de la nacionalidad ni de la vecindad civil, salvo en los supuestos concretos que se abordan en este estudio. Esta realidad genera una inseguridad jurídica que salpica la determinación del Derecho aplicable en muchas ocasiones y en especial, a la hora de determinar el régimen económico matrimonial legal. Este trabajo se dedica a analizar los cauces de acreditación de la nacionalidad y de la vecindad civil, así como las dificultades que se plantean en la determinación del régimen económico matrimonial tanto en la dimensión internacional como interna del Derecho Internacional Privado.
