Summary: Born in Ibiza in 1972, works as sociology professor in the university of Zaragoza. He holds a doctorate in sociology in the autonomous university of Madrid, a master in the university of Chicago and in the social sciences advanced studies centre in in The institute Juan March. Formerly he was a postdoctoral researcher in the CSIC (2010-2012) and researcher in the infancy and world urban I (2008-2010), where he was the head of the reports about the social inclusion for Caixa Catalunya (2008 and 2009). He is either the author or co-author of 10 books and more than 50 academic articles and chapters in joint works about family sociology, child poverty, inequality and social policies. He has been a part of various national national research projects among which is the recent project of the “VIIth Framework Programme Families and Societies”. He collaborates, or has done, with several social entities (save the children, Oxfam, UNICEF, EAPN, FEDAIA), and in different means of communication, among which eldiario.es, Heraldo de Aragón and El País stand out. He was the editor for Agenda Pública.
