This another university is characterized by itsstrong relationships with interculturality and popular education. It promotesthe educational intention of the political subject on the contribution of theirconstruction as a historical subject, who enables social practices, which act onthe popular and collective subjectivity, which is an effort to create the conditionsfor another life in community.Se identifican tres modos de universidad históricamente constituidos enColombia desde el siglo XVI hasta el presente: la universidad confesional, estataly privada-laica que responden a tres formas de organización de tres poderes:la Iglesia, El Estado y la Empresa. No obstante, esta investigación situada ensu primera fase exploratoria devela otra universidad en Colombia: campesina,intercultural, indígena y de los pueblos.
