In the present article, the author analyzes the case “Oncoserv v. Regional Government of Arequipa“, which has set a milestone in the history of Arbitration in Peru due to its unfortunate link with corruption. Its relevance lies in the application of the annulment remedy for an issue other than the notification or right to defense, such as corruption, which has had a great impact on national law.El arbitraje es un proceso de única instancia en el cual las partes se someten a un árbitro a solucionar una controversia entre ellos. La anulación de este proceso se da por medio de un recurso excepcional ante la vía Judicial que encuentra sustento en una grave vulneración al debido proceso. En el presente artículo, el autor analiza el caso “Oncoserv v. Gobierno Regional de Arequipa”, el cual ha marco un hito en la historia del Arbitraje en el Perú debido a su desafortunado vínculo con la corrupción.
