The protection and promotion of religious pluralism by public authorities is one of the main challenges to the law of our democratic states. States whose legal systems are presented as guarantors of freedom and equality of its citizens and the justice of their relations.El fenómeno de la secularización coincide en nuestras sociedades occidentales con una presencia pública cada vez más fuerte del fenómeno religioso. La dimensión social del ejercicio del derecho de libertad religiosa en sociedades cada vez más plurales constituye un verdadero test de autenticidad para las democracias contemporáneas y para sus ordenamientos jurídicos.
