Summary: The Central American Integration process is discussed in an identity crisis that requires an overhaul from the relevance of the originating document and the derived documents. In this regard, the new paradigms to build, should arise from the application of the dialectic in the advancement of the process and the obstacles that are inherent, such a perspective should seriously considered if the process is aimed at true economic integration, in search for a unitary State or it is proposed the establishment of an area of intergovernmental cooperation and collaboration, together with the contributions from the European Union. However the main task is to analyze the phenomenon of integration from a historical review of the first steps of the Union of Central America, as well as to also observe the conditions and circumstances that influenced positively or negatively in this environment, with the aim of providing theoretical tools and legal, to give the native approach and that allows to define what the legal nature of integration is and which is the model that best suits our peoples for their benefit.
