Summary: In this article we analyze the level of market Europeanization in Spain, and how the country uses the informal mechanisms of ex post governance of the internal market promoted by the European Commission. We use two datasets provided by the Commission, one with infringements and the other with the cases of informal resolution of obstacles in the internal market. The analysis shows that Spain has been successful in the Europeanization of its market, and his a telling case in the use of informal methods to correct its deviations from market Europeanization. The analysis concludes by showing how this study may be useful to other regional spaces that try to reinforce the integration of their national markets
