Criminal recidivism is an issue that concerns to different social actors involved in the prosecution and delivery of justice. There is a need to provide adequate treatment to individuals who are deprived of their liberty in different prisons. The ultimate goal of this study is to analyze the importance of an addiction treatment, exposing the relation between criminal recidivism in the theft crime and crystal meth addiction severity, as well other factors, in a group of 86 inmates in the CERESO of Cd. Obregón. This through the application of two instruments in an interview. The results show that the interviewees who presented a higher level of crystal meth addiction severity also registered a greater number of admissions to prisons, a lower age at the time of first admission and first drug use, as well as a basic level of education, among other features. |
