The challenges of globalization, digitalization and automation, the supranational nature of the regulatory organizations, must be tackled from the perspective that represents a model of labour law and a constitutional framework built on partly nineteenth century techniques, i.e., State intervention, subjective and fundamental public rights based on the idea of person or human being, recognition of the collective factor, consistent procedural instruments. New scenarios that are so contradictory elements such as the reduction of the average size of companies and the increase in international commercial transactions, so all of this affects the governance of labour relations without any real consensus on the pillars that should be the new model.El presente ensayo se conforma como un conjunto de reflexiones acerca del impacto que están produciendo en la práctica totalidad de los sistemas de relaciones laborales las principales variables económicas, tecnológicas y hasta de ordenación política que caracterizan a la sociedad del siglo XXI. Los retos de la globalización, la digitalización y la robotización, el carácter supranacional de las organizaciones reguladoras, han de afrontarse desde la perspectiva que representa un modelo de Derecho del Trabajo y un marco constitucional construido sobre técnicas en parte decimonónicas, es decir, intervención del Estado, derechos públicos subjetivos y fundamentales basados en la idea de persona o ser humano, reconocimiento del factor colectivo, instrumentos procesales acordes.
