The Council of Youth of Extremadura together with a group of university professors from
broadly varied origins launched the magazine "Cuadernos de Investigación en Juventud"
(Research Bulletins/Notebooks on Youth) in the summer of 2016. Two years after the birth
of this initiative, a new editorial collection named "Estudios sobre Juventud” (Studies on Youth)
began its journey in July, 2018. This collection is once again the fruit of collaborations
between the academic world and youth organizations. It begins with the nearly simultaneous
publication of two volumes: the first of which sees the light under the title "The Historical-
Juridical Vicissitudes of the Council of Youth of Spain (From the law that saw its creation to
the CORA Report)" “Las vicisitudes histórico-jurídicas del Consejo de la Juventud de España
(Desde su Ley de creación hasta el Informe CORA)”, and the second is titled the "Organized
Youth Participation and Administrative Rationalization (The Current Complex Legal Situation
of the Council of Youth of Spain)" “Participación juvenil organizada y racionalización
administrativa (La compleja situación jurídica actual del Consejo de la Juventud de España)”. This introductory paper aims to explain the role that both publishing initiatives serve towards the
promotion and dissemination of research that focuses on the world of youth at present.

This introductory paper aims to explain the role that both publishing initiatives serve towards the promotion and dissemination of research that focuses on the world of youth at present.O Conselho da Juventude da Extremadura, implementa, em parceria com um grupo de professores universitários de bem variada procedência, a revista “Cadernos de Investigação em Juventude” durante o verão de 2016. Dois anos depois desta iniciativa, começa o seu caminho, neste mês de julho de 2018, uma nova coleção editorial batizada com o nome de “Estudos sobre a Juventude”, que é o fruto da colaboração, mais uma vez, entre o mundo académico e as organizações juvenis. Esta coleção nasce com a publicação, de forma praticamente simultânea, de dois volumes: o primeiro nasce sob o título de “As vicissitudes histórico-jurídicas do Conselho da Juventude da Espanha (Desde a sua Lei de criação até ao Informe CORA)”, e o segundo fá-lo com a rubrica de “Participação juvenil organizada e racionamento administrativo (A complexa situação jurídica atual do Conselho da Juventude da Espanha)”. Este trabalho introdutório pretende explicar o lugar que ocupam ambas as iniciativas editoriais para a promoção e a divulgação das investigações que se efetuam sobre o mundo juvenil no momento presente.El Consejo de la Juventud de Extremadura puso en marcha, junto a un grupo de profesores universitarios de muy variada procedencia, la revista “Cuadernos de Investigación en Juventud” durante el verano de 2016. Cumplidos dos años de esta iniciativa, comienza su andadura en este mes de julio de 2018 una nueva colección editorial bautizada con el nombre de “Estudios sobre Juventud”, que es fruto de la colaboración, una vez más, entre el mundo académico y las organizaciones juveniles. Esta colección nace con la publicación, de manera prácticamente simultánea, de dos volúmenes: el primero ve la luz bajo el título de “Las vicisitudes histórico-jurídicas del Consejo de la Juventud de España (Desde su Ley de creación hasta el Informe CORA)”, y el segundo lo ha hace con la rúbrica de “Participación juvenil organizada y racionalización administrativa (La compleja situación jurídica actual del Consejo de la Juventud de España)”.
