Summary: The present article intends to offer an overview of the new National Anticorruption System in Mexico, whose constitutional and legal reform will seek to eradicate one of the worst ills afflicting the country: corruption. The importance and magnitude of this change in the Mexican legal order, without similar precedents in the Mexican constitutional history, lies not only in the broad spectrum of the society that participated in its preparation, but also in the legal commitment assumed by the three orders of government (federal, state and municipal), different judicial instances, as well as by several organs of the public administration. In this context, our external control body, the Superior Audit Office of the Federation, acquires great relevance since it was provided with new tools to carry out its tasks of supervision and investigation of public servants administratively responsible. The control of federal resources with respect to which previously it did not have faculties; the control of federal resources granted to public / private legal instruments; the possibility of monitoring in real time and with respect to fiscal years ended; are some of the new attributions of the Superior Audit of the Federation that will be analyzed here.
