This text presents a brief approach to the importance of these as fields of applied scientific research, from which the appropriate tools for the development of science will be obtained.Nos encontramos en una época crucial para la criminología, en donde su afamado estancamiento podrá quedarse en el pasado para iniciar con una revolución no vista hasta ahora en toda América Latina, donde las viejas costumbres quedarán atrás para ser reemplazadas por nuevos métodos, técnicas, conocimientos que traerán consigo la tesis de las criminologías específicas.
