Summary: This theme aims to show the impact they have had on the management of the Catholic University of Cuenca, the applicationof criteria and indicators as standards of institutional development and development in the daily work of each of themembers of the Catholic Educational community With the categorization presented to the Catholic University of Cuencaby the Board of Evaluation, Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (CEAACES) and in compliance withcorrective actions submitted to it, the University launched a plan institutional strengthening, the same as after applyingrespecting all regulations that precede and formats provided by the supervisory bodies, reaches 93% efficient execution,which allowed to apply a process of assisted self-evaluation by external guidelines can verify progress made over thepast two years, with a view to the successful re-categorization of this prestigious institution. With appropriate controlinstruments and after a process of planned and fulfilled at all levels of the University self-evaluation is a gradual transitionfrom an initial score of 29.11% execution, a possible 51.75% considering the evidence the previous two academic periodsevaluated and improving quality in the presentation of its results.
