The integrated report, especial ly with the International (IR) Framework, facilitates its implementation. Although this document is focused on the private sector, steps are being taken at the international level to help the public sector adapt the Framework by taking into account its special characteristics.In Spain, there are examples of public entities which use the integrated report. This number is increasing in line with the IBEX35, so it may be of interest to see what these integrated reports are, how they are made, and what relevance they can have in a modern enterprise, be it public or private.No es posible soslayar la importancia que ha adquirido para las entidades el transmitir la información no financiera a sus grupos de interés,explicando cómo crean valor y cómo van a seguir haciéndolo a largo plazo. La utilidad de una mejor comunicación de objetivos, adquiere mayor relevancia en el Sector Publico donde los ciudadanos demandan cada vez más transparencia en la gestión y la correcta utilización de los recursos. La normativa europea apuesta decididamente por este tipo de «reporting» y ya en 2017 ciertas empresas están obligadas a cumplirla. Los informes integrados, en especial con el Marco Internacional (IR), facilita su realización. Aunque dicho documento está, en principio, enfocado principalmente al sector privado, se están dando pasos a nivel internacional para ayudar al sector público a adaptar el Marco a su particular casuística.
