Laburpena: This study analyzes how the authorities in Portugal and Angola have developed strategies to increase the academic qualifications of their populations. Here we present statistical indicators of this evolution compared to continental realities which are inserted those countries. We also evaluate the fit or mismatch between the qualifications obtained and the creation of competence appropriate to the market of-work requirements and we conclude by proposing measures to contribute to this adjustment.
