Summary: This article gives a results of the research "Bullying: the SocialConstruction of educational institutions, teaching solutions", that was realizedat the University Luis Amigo Bogotá.In this article the influence of teachers is discussed in the context ofrelations of coexistence in school settings. Analyzing the problems ofcoexistence within schools, tend to think that the origins of the phenomenonof school violence such as the bullying, or are explained by the existence ofinadequate family relationships, or the socio-political problems of the country.Against this, it is clear that a lack of studies that address the extent to analyzethe type of teacher interaction with students, the way they communicate andexercises the authority of power in school settings, can generate aggressionphysically , verbal and psychological. On the subject, Romero Hernández(2009, p. 59) states that the power of power can be used positively ornegatively within the educational community. On the occasions exercised thatpower has been improperly observable behaviors that can generate selfcenteredness,imposition, exploitation, indoctrination, oppression, tyranny,humiliation, among others, adversely affects the quality of learning processes,school life and management of school projects.
