Summary: |
Throughout the years, civil society has gained importance and has become a significant agent of development. This is the result of challenges that have been brought by the twenty-first century. However, sectors such as the government and the market have not recognized the huge importance that society has had. Furthermore, it has been immobilized by both. This research aimed to establish the value offer held by Latin American civil society organizations. The concept of value offer is still under construction. Specifically, we will study the cases of Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina in issues such as the environment and gender violence. The value offer will be represented by means of the technical and legal capabilities, alternative and innovative proposals, and the methodologies that these Latin American civil society organizations develop in order to seek the protection and the vindication of the rights of the citizens. In conclusion, we seek to make the value of organizations visible, which in many cases is ignored, and thereby give them the importance that they deserve as participants in the establishment of developed culture. |
