Summary: In doing a study of the History of Cuba, we find that the teaching of law is alive in different educational university centers. When we talk about the process of formation of jurists, we start from the criterion that is structured around the question of what function they must fulfill them in a society. This is a question that undoubtedly makes us to reflect on the functionality of them and their determining role. When studying the majestic work of Carlos Rafael Rodríguez, we can see that when the process of nationalization of higher education after the revolutionary Triumph (1961) took place, a new program of studies began at all levels, based on the new strategies traced by the government that was beginning to be established. Process that would have as an end brings it closer to the most humble layers of society. This question was of great importance, having been raised previously by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and that would be carried out once the new power was established in the country.
