Lastly, it asserts to relevant scientific contribution for the diagnosis of problems and reflection on key issues solutions for the affirmation of social and economic development.A presente recensão constitui uma síntese dos principais pontos do Debate sobre a Desigualdade e o Futuro da Economia, promovido pela 92nd Street Y, entre Paul Krugman, Thomas Piketty e Joseph Stiglitz. Neste sentir, confere-se ênfase à exposição sintética das ideias e argumentos trazidos pelos autores em sua análise acerca do enfretamento das iniquidades socioeconômicas e suas perspectivas sobre o futuro da economia global, e, especialmente, norte-americana e europeia, a partir do presente contexto de crise.
